This winter sport center - where snow is almost guaranteed - was twice the venue of the Olympic Winter Games in 1964 and in 1976. It is located appr. 18km outside of Innsbruck and offers appr. 40km of best prepared slopes in all degrees of difficulty. Here you will enjoy the big winter sport fun.

The new Muttereralm cable-car lift (8-person cabins) starts above the village of Mutters, approx. 150m to the west of the earlier valley station and rises from an altitude of 950m to a midway station (with access) and then on to the mountain station at 1600m. This lift will open up other pistes, such as the magnificent Götzner descent down to Götzens – a really enjoyable downhill for the whole family.

Enjoy skiing fun on slopestested in Olympic Winter Games and World Cup races in all degrees of difficulty. Due to powerful snow machines snow can be guaranteed.
Stubaier Gletscher: 1.750 - 3.210m

4 cable railways, 2 x 6-seater chair-lifts, 1 x 4-seater chair-lift, 9 drag-lifts, 2 "magic carpets" in the children´s land, 1 funpark with halfpipes, 53km of slopes. The glacier is open for skiing all year through and due to the altidude of 1.750 - 3.333m snow is guaranteed. The highest mountain top at the Stubai Glacier is the "Zuckerhütl" with an altitude of 3.507m. Skiers can go up to 3.200m.
